Shaolin Temple USA’s Delegation with over 100 members spent an extraordinary and exciting weekend at the First North America Shaolin Cultural Festival at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Students from our 3 culture centers in San Francisco, Fremont CA, Herndon VA and Stanford University, accompanied by a large contingent of friends and family, gathered here to participate in the Shaolin Kung Fu Exam (in the form of a competition) and an open forum on Chan Buddhism. They immersed themselves in Shaolin Kung Fu Chan culture, met new friends, to share, learn and exchange. We are proud to announce that our students had upheld the Shaolin Warrior Spirit of Courage and Diligence, Grace and Open-Mindedness throughout the Festival.
